When you’re ready to begin investigating the best steakhouses in Gainesville, you may not know where to start. We have made the process easier by sorting through many great options to find you the best of the best!
#1 – Mark’s Prime Steakhouse
This fine dining experience is perfect for private dining in a quiet and classy atmosphere. You will love the menu items, and everything is cooked to perfection. Dessert items are a must here, and the presentation exceeds expectations. A pricier dining experience, but well worth every penny! With a consistent 4.3 out of 5 across nearly 100 reviews on Google, you can be sure that this place is going to be fantastic. On our last visit we ordered the surf and turf, which was highly recommended by one of our clients that we routinely service and provide exhaust fan hinges installation for. When it came time to order desert, we indulged in chocolate paradise, consisting of chocolate mousse, Oreo Kahlua crust, hazelnut cream, roasted almonds and raspberry puree. Needless to say, we highly recommend it!
#2 – Embers Wood Grill
When you want quality surf and turf, you want Embers Wood Grill. This place is extremely popular in the area and patrons give it an average of 4.6 out of 5 stars across over 200 reviews on Google! With a wide selection on the menu, ranging from exciting appetizers like Gator Tail, to unique side dishes like vanilla whipped mashed potatoes, you will be sure to thoroughly enjoy your dining experience here. Our personal favorite was the braised beef short-ribs. And for dessert, we went with the banana foster cheesecake, complete with pecans, brown sugar, and rum sauce. This was a choice we don’t regret, and actually intend to make again on our next visit!
#3 – Shulas Steak House
Shulas is a delightful restaurant chain, and we didn’t want to leave it out since we wanted to include a steak house that was lighter on the wallet, and also family friendly for those with little ones in tow. This location really has a great atmosphere and we enjoyed the service as well. With plenty of kid-friendly menu options, this is the perfect place to dine out with the family. With healthy options like spinach salad, crab cakes, and tuna, it is also great for those looking to watch their calories! However, if you aren’t sticking to any diets, please don’t hesitate to enjoy the variety of burgers and steaks, as there are many great options to choose from!
There are many other great steakhouse locations in Gainesville that we just didn’t have time to include, but with these three great dining spots to start with, you’ll be sure to find one that you enjoy. Feel free to explore the city and find a steakhouse that you may end up naming as your very own favorite location!
